Types of Work Index (TWI)
Analyses a job in
terms of the importance of each of the eight types of work
functions:
- Advising: Obtaining and disseminating
information.
- Innovating: Creating and experimenting
with new ideas.
- Promoting: Searching for and persuading
others of new opportunities. Developing: Assessing and testing
the applicability of new approaches.
- Organising: Establishing and implementing
ways of making things work.
- Producing: Operating established systems
and practices on a regular basis.
- Inspecting: Checking and auditing to
ensure systems are working.
- Maintaining: Ensuring that standards
and processes are upheld.
